Well Faadu Freaks, Whatsapp officially announces its beta version in which users can edit or delete the sent message from recipients chat in WhatsApp for Android you can edit messages after sending them.
This newly added feature of edit or revoke message in whatsapp firstly seen in iPhone beta version. So its easy to say that soon evey general users will have this new whatsapp feature of edit or revoke messages after sending them.
This newly added features are available to select beta users.
We have not any information when the feature will be available for all Android users but it is sure that after some days every android users will have this new feature of whatsapp.
WhatsApp has rumoured of testing a new feature on iPhone beta version which allowed users to edit messages you have already sent to recipients. It means that the feature is being tested on the Android beta app well. so regular users cannot access it right now.
This new feature of whatsapp that edit sent message features have reportedly shown up in beta versions of WhatsApp for Android but they are disabled by default which is meaning that you will have to turn it on manually on a rooted phone. That is if you want to use this feature you have to root your phone first as per @WABetaInfo, which tracks beta releases of the app and shared images showing the upcoming feature on Android, WhatsApp for Android users will also get a revoke option which will mean that the sent message never existed. The upcoming WhatsApp feature to edit or revoke sent message will work by long pressing a sent message. This WhatsApp feature of edit sent messages will work only in the case of if the recipient hasn't seen the message from the sender. Currently, In WhatsApp users delete messages on the device level and the deleted messages remain visible to the recipient.
This feature is as of facebook post feature in which user can edit his post after updating it.
